Job Summary
Service Technician in Chattanooga, TN (1099 Independent Contractor) for on-call dispatches at retail store locations to diagnose and repair water vending equipment. Responsibilities include responding to on-call dispatches, diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues, completing a service report with before/after photos, and communicating findings back to the NWS home office. Some visits are quick on-site fixes; others require a follow-up. Requires hands-on plumbing and electrical experience, a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and a smartphone. Pay is $55/hr, with no fixed schedule and no minimum hours; opportunity for flexible side work.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with basic plumbing — water lines, valves, fittings, connections
- Hands-on experience with basic electrical systems — wiring, components, troubleshooting
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment on your own
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Smartphone with camera
