Job Summary
MRI Technologist role at Three Crosses Regional Hospital. Independently performs majority of imaging exams within radiology with minimal supervision, under Radiology Director and Radiologist direction. Oversees staff workflow, staffing assignments, and ensures adherence to protocols. Involved in hiring and orientation of staff, schedules staff to meet productivity goals, oversees procedural flow, and enforces hospital policies. Requires ARRT (R)(CT) registration, NM MIRTP licensure, and current BLS (CPR). Must possess an Associate degree from an Accredited Radiology Program and have two years of experience with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy; able to handle high-stress critical care situations. Strong communication and data presentation skills are essential; role supports a patient-centered culture and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years’ experience
- Associate degree from an Accredited Radiology Program
- Possess a level of clinical expertise and competency in cross-sectional anatomy
- Must have the ability to handle critical care situations which can create a high level of stress
- ARRT (R)(CT) registered
- Active NM MIRTP Licensure (Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Program)
- Current BLS (CPR)
