Job Summary
Hire, mentor, and coach engineering talent to build strong, high-performing teams while guiding them to align architectures, standards, and technical strategies with enterprise frameworks. Define priorities and delivery approaches across assigned data engineering portfolios, overseeing the execution of data pipelines, integrations, ETL processes, and data quality frameworks. Ensure compliance with data governance standards and foster a collaborative, product-focused engineering culture grounded in Agile practices. Work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
- 8+ years of experience building comprehensive cloud-based data pipelines in a large organization
- 2+ years leading cross-functional projects
- Advanced proficiency in Python
- Advanced proficiency in SQL
- Advanced proficiency in modern ETL/ELT frameworks
- Ability to guide engineering direction
- Ability to elevate team performance
- Ability to foster cross-functional alignment
- Skilled at communicating complex technical concepts clearly to business partners and senior leadership
- Ability to prioritize and execute initiatives that advance enterprise technology and business objectives
- Experienced in applying Agile methodologies
- Ensures adherence to data governance standards and enterprise architecture guidelines
- Able to work a flexible schedule based on department and company needs
