Job Summary
Lead software application development strategy, implementation roadmaps, and line management of the team. Guide developers on application design, development, and deployment while ensuring focus on Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration. Build partnerships with stakeholders to manage expectations regarding the software development process. This role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 8-10 years of experience, including at least 5 years in LTE or 5GNR L3/CU design and development. Candidates must possess working knowledge of protocols such as RRC, PDCP, eGTPU, and NRUP, alongside strong debugging capabilities on x86 and ARM platforms. Proficiency in C/C++, Linux environments, and multi-thread programming is essential. The position is based in Bangalore.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Engineering
- 8-10 years of experience
- L3 Developer (6 to 10 years)
- Atleast 5 years of experience in LTE or 5GNR L3/CU design and development
- Working knowledge in two or more L3 layers RRC, PDCP, eGTPU, NRUP, X2AP, F1AP, NGAP etc.
- Working knowledge of 3GPP defined call flows like handovers, measurements, cross over and roll back scenarios
- Excellent debugging capabilities on x86 and/or ARM platforms
- Good understanding in usage of DPDK and other fast path packet processing technologies
- Good understanding of usage of security procedures and algorithms
- Strong hands-on experience in C and or C++ programming language
- Development and testing in Linux environment
- Knowledge of development and debugging tools required – gdb, valgrind etc.
- Knowledge of multi-thread programming, core optimization required
- Exposure to Agile methodologies in software development, Jenkins CI/CD etc.
- Exposure to configuration management tools such as Git, bitbucket etc.
Desired Qualifications
- Overall 8+ years of Wireless experience in LTE and 5GNR
- Good understanding of SCTP, L2 protocols and OAM modules
