Job Summary
Hands-on Tech Lead & Expert to design, build and lead complex SAP BTP solutions in a multi-country, multi-stakeholder environment. Role combines deep technical expertise, delivery ownership and team leadership. Acts as the technical authority on BTP topics at team level, contributing to development and integration activities. Responsible for architecture, code quality and delivery, leading by example through hands-on contributions, aligning with SAP best practices (Clean Core, side-by-side extensibility, API-first). Key activities include designing and implementing BTP extensions (CAP - Node.js / Java), building APIs (OData/REST) and event-driven integrations, developing Fiori/UI5 applications when required, troubleshooting complex issues, leading developers, performing code reviews, structuring development guidelines, upskilling the team, integrating via SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management), designing secure interfaces with S/4 and third-party systems, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, ensuring quality, performance and maintainability, and participating in testing and validation. Soft skills emphasize ownership, delivery focus, effective communication across technical and functional teams, and pragmatic problem solving.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent
- Strong hands-on experience on SAP BTP and S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Proven experience as Tech Lead or Senior Developer
- Ability to code, design and lead simultaneously
- Fluent English is mandatory
