Job Summary
Production Support Engineer for Debit Web Application at Fiserv. Responsible for ensuring smooth operation, stability, availability, and performance of production systems; troubleshoot incidents, implement fixes, monitor health, and provide timely resolutions to meet SLAs. Collaborate with internal teams and vendors; serve as primary contact for end-users reporting production issues. Perform code installations with development/QA to validate implementations or fallbacks; conduct RCA for root causes; maintain Disaster Recovery and Production Environment; participate in capacity planning, tuning, provisioning, performance, and scaling of the application infrastructure; create technical/process documentation; support Change Management/Release activities; automate routine tasks and drive productivity improvements. Required: 5-8 years IT experience with hands-on Java, JBOS, PowerShell, PLSQL; strong Unix/Linux and Oracle knowledge; Azure cloud experience; large financial services/Card Services domain experience; familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring (Splunk, Dynatrace), ITIL/ServiceNow; able to work across onshore/offshore teams and provide status reports; willingness for shift work and weekend on-call. Nice-to-have: UIPath or other automation tools, tooling enhancements.
