Job Summary
Lead the Guidewire platform transformation by providing technical authority to delivery teams and serving as the subject matter expert for development groups. Translate business needs and architectural guidelines into robust, scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions while guiding teams through detailed design, development, integration, testing, and deployment. Mentor developers to foster autonomy and best practices, actively participate in major incident resolution and root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements in performance, stability, and DevSecOps. Collaborate with architects, QA specialists, and operations partners to ensure solution alignment and manage delivery risks. Requires six years of Guidewire experience, French proficiency, and ACE certification.
Required Qualifications
- University certificate in computer science, software engineering or in a related field
- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience in software development
- At least six years with the Guidewire platform
- Three years in a technical leadership, lead developer or application architect role
- Guidewire ACE certification
- Knowledge of French
- Advanced proficiency of English
- Expertise in REST/SOAP services, XML and JSON
- Expertise in delivering complex Guidewire solutions
- Proficiency in Guidewire, Gosu and Java
- Proficiency in application architecture, systems integration and cloud-based environments
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Knowledge of source code management tools
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance
