Tech Lead/Engineering Lead - DEMTECH

Job Summary
Lead the squad to successfully bring next-generation tracking products through field trials and into full commercial launch. Champion AI transformation by organizing development around AI-delegation and AI-augmentation models, establishing the team's agentic development environment within defined security and IP guardrails. Build high-bar development plans, manage backlogs and sprint execution, and instrument human-in-the-loop gates to maintain quality without slowing velocity. Line-manage senior engineers, own team health, and lead hiring for roles requiring proven fluency in agentic development at scale. Partner closely with Product Leadership and the Technical Authority on architecture and sequencing to deliver measurable outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Technical Leadership: Demonstrated track record leading engineering teams to success through continuous delivery and structured execution without relying on engineering heroism
- Full-Stack / Platform Mastery: Solid foundation across full-stack development, data pipelines, and edge-to-cloud compute architecture
- Agentic AI Fluency: Deep, practical experience using AI-assisted and agentic development tools as your default workflow, with the ability to prove fluency at scale
- Product & Commercial Mindset: Strong balance between engineering excellence and business impact, with a clear sense of ownership and commercial drive
- People-Centric Leadership: An empathetic, growth-oriented leadership style that recognizes awesome people as the core foundation of a great team
- Hybrid working – minimum 2 days per week in the office
