Job Summary
Lead the squad to successfully bring next-generation tracking products through field trials and into full commercial launch. Champion AI transformation by organizing development around AI-delegation and AI-augmentation models, establishing the team's agentic development environment within defined security and IP guardrails. Build high-bar development plans, manage backlogs, and instrument human-in-the-loop gates to maintain quality without slowing velocity. Line-manage senior engineers, own team health, and mentor staff into 10x ways of working focused on orchestration and strategic judgment. Partner with Product Leadership and the Technical Authority on architecture, sequencing, and continuous delivery to ensure impactful, measurable outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Technical Leadership
- Demonstrated track record leading engineering teams to success through continuous delivery and structured execution without relying on engineering heroism
- Full-Stack / Platform Mastery
- Solid foundation across full-stack development, data pipelines, and edge-to-cloud compute architecture
- Agentic AI Fluency
- Deep, practical experience using AI-assisted and agentic development tools as your default workflow, with the ability to prove fluency at scale
- Product & Commercial Mindset
- Strong balance between engineering excellence and business impact, with a clear sense of ownership and commercial drive
- People-Centric Leadership
- An empathetic, growth-oriented leadership style that recognizes awesome people as the core foundation of a great team
- Experience leading hiring for open engineering roles
- Recruiting talent with proven fluency in agentic development at scale
- Turning product vision into managed backlogs, sprint plans, and execution roadmaps
- Instrumenting human-in-the-loop gates that maintain high quality without slowing down velocity
- Line-managing senior engineers
- Mentoring engineers into 10x ways of working, focusing on orchestration and strategic judgment over manual coding
- Partnering closely with Product Leadership and the squad's Technical Authority on architecture, sequencing, and continuous delivery
- Providing delivery structure, quality standards, and agentic development environment the team can trust
- Shaping and scaling an AI-first engineering culture
- Organizing development around AI-delegation and AI-augmentation models
- Establishing and owning the squad's agentic development environment within defined security and IP guardrails
