Job Summary
Review upper-level requirements and specifications to design thorough, traceability-compliant test strategies for the Model-Based Development framework. Prepare, author, and execute detailed test cases and procedures for model-based components, while implementing and running unit tests using the Cunit framework to verify individual modules. Design and develop comprehensive test projects and frameworks to automate validation activities, working extensively with XML/XSD schemas to parse and manipulate model-driven data structures. Configure, manage, and scale development and testing environments using VS Code and Apache ANT. Produce clear, detailed technical documentation of test activities and results, maintaining full traceability to requirements. Requires 8+ years of industry experience in C and embedded systems, with proficiency in Linux, ANT, and documentation standards like Markdown and AsciiDoc.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related engineering discipline
- 8+12 Years of industry experience
- Proven experience in Component-Based Modelling and Model Driven Architecture principles
- Solid knowledge of multitasking and concurrency in embedded systems
- Strong hands-on coding skills in the C Language
- Solid understanding and working experience with XML / XSD data structures
- Experience in writing and executing test suites
- Familiarity with build automation tools such as ANT
- Proficiency in using VS Code
- Proficiency in MarkDown and Asciidoc formats
- experience in doc-as-code methodologies
- Experience in Cunit framework (mandatory)
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to regulated software development lifecycles (e.g., DO-178C, ISO 26262)
- Exposure to test framework development
