Job Summary
Build and operate pragmatic data pipelines on Azure for ingestion, transformation, and reporting while integrating APIs, ERPs, and CRMs into a robust, documented ecosystem. Deploy Claude and LLM agents to automate workflows, create self-service internal tools, and streamline repetitive tasks using Python, SQL, and Azure services. Drive end-to-end ownership from rapid prototyping to stable production, collaborating closely with business analysts and management to translate requirements into functional solutions. Establish clean documentation, Git-based workflows, and code quality standards without unnecessary overhead. Join a 50-person team in Cologne building a leading medical cannabis platform with 1,000 pharmacy partners, shaping the industry's future through AI-native data engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Builder im Tech-Umfeld – als Engineer, Tech Lead oder Allrounder; Skill zählt mehr als Berufsjahre
- Sehr gute Python-Kenntnisse für Datenverarbeitung, Automation, Integrationen und Tools
- Solide Azure-Erfahrung – du hast in Azure produktiv gebaut (z.B. Functions, Data Factory, Storage, Databricks, Fabric – egal welcher Mix)
- Sehr gute SQL-Kenntnisse und ein gutes Gespür für Datenmodellierung – pragmatisch, nicht überengineert
- AI-Praxiserfahrung – du arbeitest aktiv mit LLM-APIs (Claude, OpenAI o.ä.), AI-Coding-Tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor) und hast schon Workflows oder Agents produktiv gebracht
- Builder-Mindset: Du lieferst Prototypen in Tagen statt Wochen, denkst in Outcomes und entscheidest pragmatisch über den Stack
- Erfahrung mit Integrationen, APIs und Automatisierung – du verbindest Systeme, die nicht für einander gemacht wurden
- Sicherer Umgang mit Git, sauberem Code und DevOps-Grundlagen – ohne Overhead, aber mit Sorgfalt
- Erfahrung aus einem Scale-Up, Mittelstand oder kleinem Team – du bist es gewohnt, breit zu arbeiten und Ownership zu übernehmen
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
