Job Summary
Diagnose server motherboard issues, isolate faults, and perform component-level repairs including soldering, flux cleaning, and pad inspection. Check CID status, verify polarity, and execute quick tests before handing units to the test team. Organize repair tooling, manage good and non-conforming parts, and maintain daily ESD audit records. Meet and exceed defined KPIs by turning in end-of-day reports and utilizing time efficiently for tasks like inspection, data input, or soldering as project needs shift.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Prefer college degree in related electronics field
- Prefer over 12 Months experience in computer repair or related field
- Excel knowledge and experience to read instructions and track data
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skill
- Good attention to details
- Customer service focus
- Team player
- Demonstrated ability to read, and follow written instructions and ideas
- Must be able to read schematic, multi-meter and oscilloscope
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently, meet deadlines and work independently
