Job Summary
Inspect, test, and diagnose servers sent to SMS for repair, replacing parts as needed and conducting stress tests. Document all symptoms, results, and replaced components in the shop floor tool while collaborating with motherboard repair, QC, and inspection personnel. Maintain parts consumption and provide backup support across teams. Work 90% on daily responsibilities from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Thursday through Sunday, lifting up to 50 lbs in a warehouse environment with moderate noise levels. Requires high school diploma, one year of repair depot experience, and knowledge of brands like Dell, HP, and Lenovo.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-year experience in Repair Depot
- worked in a low production PC type environment
- read and write English
- Experience of simple or repetitive component replacement such as LCD/HDD for multiple commodities
- working knowledge of different models such as ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba, Apple, and Acer etc
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Demonstrated skill set while working with Temp Agency
- ability to clearly organize and categorize work priorities to complete assigned tasks
- demonstrated ability to read and follow written instructions and ideas
- repeated and coordinated use of your hands, wrists, and fingers to use a computer keyboard, and other small handheld tools
