Job Summary
Manually fill and pack refrigerated and ambient temperature medicines, operate automated packing machinery, and support the shipping handler by metering packages and sorting them for shipment. Collaborate with team leads and supervisors in a closed-door mail order pharmacy setting to ensure timely medication delivery. Requires an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License, ability to lift 40 pounds, and regular attendance on Sundays and weekdays from 2pm to 1am. Full-time role with a base pay range of $17.00 to $31.30 per hour, eligible for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to reach/twist/turn/bend/stoop/walk and lift up to 40 pounds
- Detail focused and task orientated
- Ability to read and understand English
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Work mandatory overtime when needed based on business needs
- Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam successfully passed by December 31st of your 2nd IL Pharmacy Technician License renewal
- Verifiable High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Sunday 2pm-12:25am
- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 3pm- 1:25am
Desired Qualifications
- Formal Pharmacy Technician training
- Pharmacy Technician experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to 2024
