Tech I - Lab Support (Full Time 11:30am-8pm)

Job Summary
Conduct venipuncture, provide post-care for phlebotomy sites, collect and process specimens, and manage receiving desk duties, scheduling functions, and waived point-of-care laboratory testing. Maintain positive patient identification, perform order entry, and verify patient data while adhering to standard operating procedures. Apply standard precautions, infection control, and isolation techniques during specimen collection and shipping. Work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment, managing workload priorities and communicating professionally with patients, families, physicians, and staff. Demonstrate critical thinking, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under stress. Requires physical ability for lifting, standing, and moving equipment; flexible hours accommodate schedule changes.
