Job Summary
Tech Coach at Digital Harbor Foundation (Baltimore, MD) will lead accessible STEM and makerspace summer-camp activities for youth, focusing on inclusion and co-design within the NSF-funded Space For All project.Responsibilities include facilitating hands-on activities in engineering, creative technology, VR/game design, digital storytelling, and project-based learning; supporting daily camp operations (check-in/check-out, transitions, lunch, materials, tech setup); documenting program activities; supporting research and data collection; mentoring participants; recruiting outreach; promoting an inclusive, welcoming environment; and collaborating to iteratively improve program design. Camps run July 6–August 7, 2026 (Mini Makers Camp Grades 3–5 and VR Storytelling & Game Design Camp Grades 8–12) at the Tech Center, in-person, with 9:00am–3:00pm sessions and additional planning hours. Compensation is $22/hour for a temporary, part-time role. Applicants should apply with a cover letter and resume; virtual interviews are noted. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in education, technology, design, or related fields
- Prior experience teaching, mentoring, or working with youth (preferred)
- Experience working with neurodivergent youth or in inclusive learning environments is a strong plus
- Experience in STEM, makerspaces, creative technology, or related fields (preferred)
- Bonus: Experience with Meta Quest headsets, Unity, or VR app design projects (personal or professional)
