Job Summary
Administer, manage, and maintain Linux/Unix servers to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Troubleshoot system issues across Windows and Linux/Unix platforms, handle infrastructure incidents, and perform routine patch management. Utilize basic SQL skills for database support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance. Maintain detailed logs of configurations and ensure disaster recovery procedures are tested regularly. Provide off-hours support for critical incidents and assist in automating routine tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation degree
- Linux/Unix Administration: 2+ Experience managing and troubleshooting Linux/UNIX based systems (RHEL)
- SQL Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL queries and database operations
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve infrastructure related issues efficiently
- System Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Experience in monitoring system performance, analyzing logs, and optimizing system resources
- Security Awareness: Knowledge of security best practices for both Windows and Linux systems
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with teams and document processes
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the Microsoft suite will be an added advantage
- Database basic knowledge (SQL, Oracle)
- Experience in shell scripting and PowerShell
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in Technical/Production Support role
