Job Summary
Tech Analyst III leads the on-site IT support for OneOncology partner practices, providing top-tier technical service, troubleshooting escalated issues, and guiding IT projects across multiple California locations. Responsibilities include operating as the IT department lead for the practice, delivering white-glove user support, documenting configurations and procedures, mentoring Tech support staff, aligning IT standards with practice needs, and collaborating with practice leaders to implement system updates and ensure SLA adherence. Requires a bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent) and 5 years in systems administration, with strong knowledge of MS servers, virtualization, network infrastructure, Active Directory, and VOIP/communications systems. Certifications are a plus; healthcare IT experience is beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience in systems administration or a related field
- Proficiency in backup and recovery solutions
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools
- Knowledge of patch management practices and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Relevant certifications (e.g. A+, Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus
- Willingness to stay updated with networking technologies and industry trends
- Healthcare related experience a plus
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Servers, SANs, Network Infrastructure, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMWare, Remote Desktop Services
