Job Summary
Provide technical support to poultry producers in the care and management of company poultry. Advise on building and equipment specifications, litter management, and farm sanitation; conduct farm visits, document bird welfare, manage flock performance, and adjust equipment settings. Direct feed and lighting schedules; monitor egg production, body weight, and overall condition; implement corrective actions. Track feed consumption, collect blood and fat samples as required, coordinate bird placements, assist with catch schedules, and maintain effective communication with hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live-haul teams. Ensure compliance with production contracts and USDA/government regulations to produce high-quality flocks efficiently and cost-effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year related poultry management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
