Job Summary

Collect daily representative samples of aggregates and run physical and chemical tests using ASTM, AASHTO, and DOT standards. Log results in the QC database, adjust blend parameters, and coordinate third-party testing to ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and environmental permits. Obtain daily samples, perform elemental analysis via XRF, and assist operations in resolving issues including screen media adjustments. May require occasional travel to customer job sites to collect additional samples and address on-site problems.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Associate or bachelor's degree
3+ years of experience in aggregates or related testing field
Basic understanding of open-pit quarry operations
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Valid driver's license
Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions
Must be able to tolerate being exposed to loud noises with appropriate hearing protection and safety equipment provided
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance
