Job Summary
Lead technical and commercial discussions with aluminum producers and casthouses to identify performance challenges and tailor solutions. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, prepare technical proposals and value analyses, and collaborate with Marketing & Technology, Engineering, and Operations to design and implement solutions that improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Drive market planning, opportunities, and book of business growth; develop quotation responses and cost models; represent the company at industry events; support training on aluminum product applications and process optimization; travel up to 75% within the U.S. and potentially international travel. Requires strong understanding of aluminum production processes, ability to translate technical data into commercial value, and excellent presentation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, process engineering, or product management within the aluminum industry (casting, rolling, extrusion, or recycling preferred).
- Proven record of success in B2B industrial sales and/or technical support roles.
