Job Summary
Dismantle customer hydraulic cylinders, cleaning and inspecting components for usability before transporting them to repair machines. Operate special equipment while minimizing damage during disassembly, maintaining alertness to intricate parts and heavy materials. Adhere strictly to personal safety rules and environmental regulations throughout the labor-intensive process. Work in a climate-controlled area despite daily exposure to wet, oily, and dirty conditions, including overtime or shift assignments as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Strong ability to use hand tools, torches, sledgehammers, and pneumatic tools
- Manual dexterity required for disassembly of intricate parts
- Basic understanding of hydraulic principles
- Alert and attentive to details
- Physically able to stoop, bend, lift and position materials of heavy weight
- Willingness to work hours (including overtime) or shift assigned
