Lead a team of approximately 15 traffic controllers in Groningen by providing direction, building ownership, and fostering development within a complex railway environment. Manage operational readiness, staffing, and team dynamics while identifying opportunities to improve processes and drive changes that enhance collaboration across traffic control, planning, technical, and external stakeholders. Serve as the primary contact for the emergency service once every six to seven weeks, ensuring rapid and adequate incident resolution within the region. Maintain overall quality, safety, and continuity of the department while acting as a bridge between operations, HR, and various partners to support reliable train service for thousands of passengers in North Holland.
