Job Summary

Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight to ensure a safe, structured, and supportive environment for youth and staff. Supervise, coach, and support direct-care staff while reinforcing performance expectations, organizational standards, and daily routines. Respond appropriately to behavioral concerns, incidents, and emergencies in accordance with New Hope policies and procedures. Monitor staff performance, attendance, documentation, and completion of assigned responsibilities, while assisting with scheduling and ensuring appropriate coverage. Identify signs of stress and burnout among staff and promote appropriate wellness strategies. Communicate effectively with leadership and other departments regarding staffing concerns, incidents, and operational updates. Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with applicable NC DHHS, DHSR, Joint Commission, licensing, safety, and organizational standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in behavioral health, mental health, or child welfare

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of residential or group-home environments
