Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service, thoroughly clean and stock workstations, and process accurate payment transactions at Applegreen travel plazas. Prepare and serve quality food while ensuring proper food handling procedures, including temperature checks and product rotation. Operate the point-of-sale system, follow brand standards, and actively cross-sell products to travelers. Perform kitchen tasks such as prepping, cooking, and packaging, while maintaining a solid knowledge of available services. Work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Cash handling and customer service experience preferred
