Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging positively with travelers, operating the point-of-sale system to process payments, and ensuring accurate food handling, stocking, and temperature checks. Prepare and serve quality food through various kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, and packaging while maintaining clean workstations. Actively cross-sell products and uphold brand standards, food safety requirements, and all company policies. Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. This role supports Applegreen USA's mission to refresh travelers across 80+ Northeast and Midwest travel plazas offering diverse food options.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
