Job Summary
Team Member at West Coast Convenience supporting a network of stations across California. Responsibilities include managing cash register operations, stocking shelves, delivering fast, courteous customer service, maintaining a clean store and surrounding property, troubleshooting car wash issues, preparing shift reports, and cross-selling/up-selling to increase store sales. Must uphold core values (People, Teamwork, Communication, Training, Results Matter, Fun, Customer Centered, Safety) and be able to work across multiple shifts (first, second, third) with flexible scheduling. Ability to validate IDs for tobacco/alcohol as required, lift up to 50 pounds, work in various temperatures, and pass background checks. 18+ for 1st/2nd shifts; 21+ for 3rd shift. Locations include Pacifica, CA, US. Offers incentives based on tenure and is a full-time/part-time role contingent on shift.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to read, understand, and write in the English language
- Perform basic math including proper calculation of change
- Have the ability to validate identification prior to selling tobacco and/or alcohol (as required under applicable laws and regulations)
- Can lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders as needed
- Ability to remain calm and respond to emergencies according to policies and procedures defined by company guidelines
- Tolerate exposure to gasoline fumes and cleaning products
- Ability to work in various temperature environments (coolers, outside in various weather conditions, and in the station)
- Must be 18+ years old to work 1st and 2nd shift
- Minimum of 21 years old to work 3rd shift
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed
