Job Summary
Warranty-focused role responsible for analyzing warranty data, handling and negotiating warranty claims, and driving cost reductions. Key duties include warranty analysis, claim review and settlement, supplier warranty recovery, data analysis to identify emerging issues, continuous improvement of TMA processes (Kaizens) and engine refurbishing to support field teams, and finalizing warranty surcharge for upcoming periods. Requires BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering; 4-8 years in Customer Quality, Warranty; understanding BS-VI norms, powertrain and after-treatment systems, and manufacturing processes. Strong analytical skills, root-cause identification, and cross-functional coordination with customers (e.g., Eicher, Volvo, UD), suppliers, and internal teams to reduce warranty costs and improve product quality.
