Job Summary
Team Member at a Jack in the Box location delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly, attentive service, preparing quality food, and maintaining a clean restaurant environment. Responsibilities include guest interaction, taking and clarifying orders, operating the POS, assembling orders for dine-in or drive-thru, maintaining cleanliness across interior/exterior areas, supporting kitchen stations (grill, fryer, prep, assembly), ensuring food safety and quality, and upholding brand standards and hospitality practices. Emphasizes quick, accurate service, teamwork, and a positive, professional demeanor aligned with JIB policies and guest expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in guest service or food preparation is helpful
- Ability to stand and move for long periods
- Must be at least 16 years old
- English literacy; basic math
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant
- Willingness to follow policies and brand standards
- Team player with good communication
- Willingness to work varying shifts including peak times
