Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service, operate POS, prepare and serve food, stock and sanitize workstation, and perform various duties to support travelers at a busy travel plaza. Responsibilities include processing payments accurately, following cash-handling policies, maintaining food safety procedures (wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, rotating, and temperature checks), assisting with kitchen tasks (prepping, thawing, cooking, packaging, wrapping, cleaning), stocking and cleaning equipment, cross-selling and upselling products, maintaining product knowledge, and adhering to brand standards and company policies. Strong emphasis on friendly interactions with customers and coworkers, with flexible scheduling to cover days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Able to bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents
