Job Summary
Provide exceptional customer service, thoroughly clean and stock, process accurate payment transactions, and prepare quality food to meet traveler needs. Operate the point-of-sale system, follow food safety and cash handling policies, and actively cross-sell products while maintaining brand standards. Perform kitchen tasks including prepping, cooking, and cleaning, ensuring proper product storage and temperature checks. Maintain a solid knowledge of available services and execute assigned duties. Requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds, with availability for flexible schedules including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Applegreen USA operates over 80 travel plazas across the Northeast and Midwest offering diverse dining options.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time
- Frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 40 pounds
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
- Available to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation
