Job Summary
Work multiple stations including load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, and front as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager. Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness, and safety while restocking the food line, chips, and cooler. Prepare quality finished products such as sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, and ice cream efficiently. Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen, and utensils; take out trash. Operate the cash register to handle, balance, and follow all cash handling procedures. Effectively handle customer complaints or issues and take delivery, catering, or pickup orders over the phone. If 18 or older, use the automatic slicer to prep food items. Minimum age is 16. Illinois applicants must become food safety certified within 30 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- at least 16 years of age
- friendly, customer-first mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- comfortable working in a bustling kitchen environment
- ability to manage potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
- team player
- able to stand/walk a minimum of 3 hours or as needed
- able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- food safety certification within 30 days of employment (Illinois Applicants only)
