Job Summary
Team Member at Potbelly: manage multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) and provide fast, friendly service in a busy, noisy environment. Duties include prepping quality finished products, restocking, operating the cash register with proper cash handling, handling customer questions and complaints, taking delivery/catering/pickup orders, ensuring health and safety standards, cleaning tables and work areas, and adhering to allergen controls for peanut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, and shellfish. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and be at least 16 years old. IL employees must complete food safety certification within 30 days. Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are required.
Required Qualifications
- Able to stand/walk a minimum of 3 hours or as needed
- At least 16 years of age
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Illinois Applicants - all IL employees are required to become food safety certified within 30 days of employment.
