Job Summary
Team Member at Fazoli's responsible for greeting customers warmly, taking orders, assisting customers with menu options, preparing food to Fazoli's standards, and ensuring a clean, welcoming dining area. Duties include following food safety guidelines, operating kitchen equipment safely, handling cash transactions, maintaining accurate orders, and collaborating with teammates to ensure efficient restaurant operations. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Prior food service or customer service experience is a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4-8+ hours) with periodic breaks
- Perform repetitive motions, including frequent use of hands and arms for tasks such as chopping, stirring, carrying, and operating equipment
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, twisting, and reaching above eye level
- Capability to walk up and down stairs and use a step ladder as needed
- Occasional sitting, talking, and active listening as required by the role
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly as part of job duties
- Work in a loud, fast-paced environment
- May involve exposure to heat, noise, and cleaning chemicals in the kitchen area
- Proper PPE and training to ensure safety and comfort
- Awareness of temperature fluctuations and safe practices for food safety
- Job duties span both indoor and outdoor settings
- Outdoor tasks may involve curbside delivery, trash maintenance, or ensuring a clean exterior for guests
- Awareness of potential hazards such as hot surfaces, sharp objects, and wet floors
