Job Summary
Ability to accurately and efficiently complete distributed warehouse tasks using RF barcode scanning devices, material handling equipment (electric and manual pallet jacks, stand-up and sit-down forklifts), and WMS applications. Duties include receiving, transferring, picking, packing, and shipping, tagging pallets for transfer/pick/ship, general warehousing responsibilities, multi-tasking, and adapting to various tasks as assigned by warehouse management. Requires high school education, basic math skills, and familiarity with or ability to learn warehouse systems; must maintain accuracy, work well in a team, and handle physical duties such as heavy lifting. This role operates in a warehouse environment with potential exposure to temperature extremes, dust, fumes, and battery acid; overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Minimum 1/2 year experience in warehouse operations
- RF equipment experience
- Forklift experience (electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap machine)
- Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Sense of urgency and well organized
- Cooperative team-like attitude
