Job Summary
Team Member - Engineering (Mechanical) responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, managing technical documentation, ensuring compliance with SOPs, and driving equipment reliability and continuous improvement. The role involves planning predictive, preventive, and shutdown maintenance; troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment including transformers, generators, substations, and control systems; implementing automation systems (HMI/PLC); executing equipment qualification and validation per ISO/cGMP; maintaining master maintenance schedules in SAP; performing CAPA using RCA and Why-Why analyses; training team members; coordinating with plant leads and external vendors; and supporting cost estimation, budgeting, and audits. It requires a Diploma/B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical engineering and 8-12 years of relevant experience, with strong technical, analytical, and regulatory-compliance capabilities, and a proactive approach to safety and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 8 to 12 years of professional experience in engineering, maintenance or related technical roles
- Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, preventive maintenance, breakdown management
- Troubleshooting of machinery and equipment
- Experience with preventive maintenance plans and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Understanding of cGMP and regulatory guidelines
- Experience with equipment validation methodologies and qualification protocols
- Ability to coordinate with external vendors and cross-functional teams
- Strong documentation, data analysis, and reporting skills
- Familiarity with CAD software or technical drawing tools (preferred)
- Project coordination and cost estimation/budgeting experience
