Job Summary
Craft and serve specialty hot and cold beverages, preparing authentic Italian espresso across multiple counters while accommodating guest requests. Greets, guides, and assists guests throughout their experience, providing outstanding service and in-depth product knowledge including allergen and ingredient information. Collaborate across back-of-house and front-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness, organize stations, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Operate the Point of Sales system, manage deliveries, and fulfill other duties as assigned. Requires 1+ year of barista experience, manual espresso machine operation, and ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Compensation ranges from $17-$18 per hour plus tips.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, ovens, drink blender, juicer and Point of Sale
- Dexterity for rapid repeated movements
- Ability to follow recipe and execute tasks according to standard
- Ability to follow DOH / Company Regulations
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for all production
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year barista experience on a manual espresso machine preferred
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and product
- Outstanding communication and guest service skills
