Job Summary
Craft and serve specialty hot and cold beverages following recipes while accommodating guest requests, and prepare food items to ensure an exceptional experience. Greets, guides, and assists guests throughout their café visit, providing in-depth product knowledge and allergen information. Collaborate across front-of-house and back-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness, manage retail deliveries, and operate the Point of Sale system accurately. Set up stations with proper allergen separation and perform assigned cleaning duties including dishwashing and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including early mornings, evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting
- Ability to operate equipment such as manual espresso machine, ovens, drink blender, juicer and Point of Sale
- Dexterity for rapid repeated movements
- Ability to follow recipe and execute tasks according to standard
- Ability to follow DOH / Company Regulations
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and follow directions for all production
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year barista experience on a manual espresso machine preferred
- Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about coffee, tea and drink preparation and product
- Outstanding communication and guest service skills
