Job Summary
Deliver orders to guests in a safe, timely, and professional manner using a Chick-fil-A vehicle. Provide warm, attentive hospitality during order handoff, curbside delivery, and all guest-facing interactions, while supporting restaurant tasks when deliveries are slow. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and vehicle, adapt to various shifts (early morning to evening), and uphold Chick-fil-A’s core service standards and Winning Hearts Every Day strategy.
Required Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license.
- Must have a MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) in good standing at the time of applying for position.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must have at least 6 months of safe driving experience.
- Must be able to work outside, in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain, with provided, proper weather attire.
- Must be willing and able to obtain Food Handler Certification and complete a Defensive Driving Course within 14 days of start date.
- Must be friendly, outgoing, professional, and team-oriented.
- Ability to carry delivery tote bags (approximately 20-25 lbs. without assistance)
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to safely operate a company vehicle while delivering orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal) with guests and team members in order to safely and effectively perform delivery and customer service responsibilities.
