Job Summary
Greet guests, share cookie recommendations, and bake signature cookies to high standards while crafting and serving customized beverages. Process orders and payments accurately through the POS system, promote upsells, and explain loyalty programs. Keep service areas stocked and sanitized, monitor ovens and freezers, and prepare pickup and catering orders. Maintain a clean, safe environment across the counter, kitchen, and storefront while communicating openly with the team. Requires 18+ years of age, Food Protection Certification, and flexible availability including weekends and holidays. Pay is $17.00 - $18.00 per hour plus tips.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Brings a passion for customer service and creating memorable guest experiences, grounded in professionalism and integrity
- Strong communication skills — friendly, clear, and confident
- Adheres to all food safety and sanitation procedures with care and consistency
- Works quickly, efficiently, and kindly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Holds a Food Protection Certification (or is willing to obtain one where required)
- Successfully completes all training programs to uphold Chip City standards
- Able to stand for extended periods and operate a cash register or related equipment
- Capable of moving throughout the bakery, stockroom, and office areas, and lifting up to 30 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Comfortable performing repetitive motions for extended periods
- Able to work in a warm, fast-paced environment around commercial ovens and baking equipment
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
