Job Summary
Cook – Team Member at Popeyes, delivering hot, fresh, flavorful food in a clean, safe, and efficient environment. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking menu items to Popeyes standards, following recipes and portion controls, operating kitchen equipment safely, maintaining sanitary workstations, and supporting kitchen flow during peak service periods with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. Strong emphasis on Popeyes Cajun Hospitality and delivering high-quality meals.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry
- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Availability to work within open hours (evenings, holidays, weekends)
- Familiarity with a POS system and ServSafe certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of team leadership and positive conflict resolution
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Able to withstand the physical demands a restaurant environment holds
