Job Summary
Team Member at Circle K in Solon, OH. Responsibilities include delivering prompt, courteous customer service; greeting customers; ringing up sales on cash register; handling money and various payment types; operating fuel, lottery, and money order machines; maintaining store cleanliness and safety; performing merchandising tasks such as stocking and placing signage; managing inventory and shift audits; enforcing company and brand guidelines; reporting safety or security concerns; attending meetings; maintaining predictable onsite attendance; and performing other duties as assigned. Requires ability to operate equipment (registers/scanners), flexible shift availability (days, evenings, overnights, weekends), and a preference for high school diploma or GED; prior retail experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in retail sales preferred
- Ability to operate cash registers or scanners; be able to handle money and other transactions
- Ability to work as scheduled including arriving on time
- Ability to communicate information clearly
- Basic arithmetic skills
- Ability to perform essential duties described
- Ability to work in walk-in cooler or freezer occasionally
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work indoors predominantly, with some outdoor duties
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Able to use cash register/computer keyboard
