Job Summary
Welcome, greet, and interact with all members, prospective members, and guests while providing membership information and facilitating tours. Complete daily cleaning tasks to ensure gym presentation is always extraordinarily clean, and handle membership sign-ups, phone calls, point-of-sale transactions, and member concerns including billing disputes. Assist members with amenities, fitness programs, and equipment functions, and make and serve smoothies to meet customer specifications. Regularly review training materials in the Learning Management System and attend team meetings. Requires CPR, First Aid, and AED training, plus food handler certification where applicable. Pay range is $15.70 - $19.62 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- CPR, First Aid, AED Training, and Food Handler Certification (if applicable)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in person and over the phone
- Excellent team-based communication with the capacity to receive and deliver feedback
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Able to read, write, and speak clearly in English
- Touring the gym: walking and climbing stairs
- Bending, kneeling, and repetitive arm movement
- Standing for long periods
- Computer operations
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Background checks are required for some positions
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Customer Service experience
- Bilingual in Spanish
