Team Manager Test Engineering

Job Summary
Lead a team of test engineers in medical device development at Atos Medical in Hörby, Sweden. Define and develop new test methods and verification strategies to support innovation projects from concept through verification, collaborating with R&D, product management, quality, and other stakeholders to ensure testing capabilities meet project and business needs. Balance hands-on testing with team leadership, acting as a senior sparring partner in test design and execution, while guiding resources, priorities, and processes (including QMS) across projects. Requirements include an engineering degree, strong background in test engineering and method development, leadership experience or potential, experience from regulated medical device development, structured prioritization and stakeholder management, and fluency in English. The role offers a mix of on-site and remote work (primarily Hörby, Sweden) with four days on-site and one day remote per week, under a collective agreement, with flexible hours and wellbeing benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Hold a degree in engineering or another relevant technical discipline
- Strong experience in test engineering, method development, statistics and laboratory-based work
- Proven leadership experience or clear potential to take on people leadership
- Experience from medical device development, regulated industries, or similar product development environment
- Structured prioritisation, stakeholder management, and team development
- Fluency in English
