Job Summary
Team Manager Software Engineering responsible for leading a 25-35 software engineers and specialists on real-time, safety-critical naval software for the F126 program. You will coach, inspire, facilitate, and build the team, driving performance and quality within an agile environment (Scrum and SAFe). Your role includes developing competencies, domain knowledge, and optimal working methods, identifying opportunities for improvement, initiating change, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver innovative, high-tech solutions. The position requires a managerial mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to balance technology and people while contributing to the program's success. The role is based in Hengelo, Netherlands, with a hybrid work arrangement (at least two days working from home per week where the role allows), and offers relocation support, a flexible benefits package, and opportunities for personal growth within a leading high-tech environment.
Required Qualifications
- At least a BSc/MSc in a technical field
- Management experience in a high-tech environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
