Job Summary
Lead Technical Team to develop products for Axalta’s technology leadership in coatings; drive new product development with target specifications, cost and profitability; ensure technical and color support to customers; deliver margin improvement targets; collaborate with Product, Regional/Global Technology teams to localize products and leverage global developments; coordinate with supply chain, demand, and operations to focus on quality improvements and product ownership, ensuring manufacturing alignment with market needs; maintain 5S in Lab and office areas; stay updated on Paint/Application Technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Coating Technical background (Postgraduate or Graduate in Paint Technology, Chemical engineering, Polymer Science)
- Minimum 12-15 years’ related work experience in Paint or allied industry
- Good knowledge of Paint Formulations, Raw Materials, Application Techniques
- Strong ownership mindset and team-work spirit
- Excellent Inter-personal communication skills & Presentation skills
