Job Summary
Lead an agile production team to execute, optimize, and continuously improve high-volume assembly and manufacturing operations within the advanced BESS facility. Drive standardization and discipline of the Ford Energy Production System to ensure peak efficiency, quality, and operational stability. Deliver SQDCPME objectives through effective shift scheduling, resource alignment, and line performance management. Champion data-driven decision-making to optimize cycle times, eliminate bottlenecks, reduce scrap, and maximize First Time Through rates. Build a high-performing team through hands-on coaching, mentorship, and skill development of operators, team leaders, and technicians. Align cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Logistics to resolve systemic line issues, support new product launches, and meet plant-wide objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership and team building skills to lead an agile production team
- Ability to drive standardization, discipline, and execution of production systems
- Knowledge of SQDCPME objectives (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, People, Maintenance, Environment)
- Experience with shift scheduling and resource alignment
- Experience with line performance management
- Ability to champion data-driven decision-making
- Experience optimizing cycle times
- Experience eliminating production bottlenecks
- Experience reducing scrap
- Experience maximizing First Time Through (FTT) rates
- Hands-on coaching and mentorship skills
