Job Summary
Manage other team members and assist stores in displaying and organizing live plants within Walmart Garden Departments. Train full-time and seasonal employees on merchandising tasks, establish positive working relationships with store personnel, and communicate initiatives to the team. Execute merchandising direction from supervisors and answer customer questions regarding products while maintaining acute attention to detail and high standards. Requires a motor vehicle report approved driving record, high school diploma or GED, and a smartphone with mobile device management software installed for clocking in/out. Must speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language.
Required Qualifications
- Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) approved driving record (for employees 18 and older)
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training
- Ability to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with store personnel
- Ability to follow and execute merchandising direction as given to you by your supervisor
- Ability to communicate initiatives to store personnel
- Willingness to work with in-store customers to answer questions regarding the products
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Must have a smart phone updated with the latest operating system from IOS and/or Android and agree to have a mobile device management software installed on your device by the IT Department to load applications for the purpose of clocking in/out
