Job Summary
As a Team Manager at Panera, you will play a vital role in the bakery-cafe’s leadership team by running great shifts, supporting team development, and maintaining high standards for food quality and customer service. Key responsibilities include coaching and motivating team members, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and actively participating in the hiring and training processes. The position requires flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and effective communication in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18 years of age
- ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification)
- Capability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects 25 pounds
- Ability to clearly communicate and quickly understand directions in a loud environment
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
- Proven ability to lead great shifts
- Ability to achieve ServSafe certification
