Job Summary
As a Team Manager at Panera, you’ll be part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team, responsible for running great shifts, developing team members, and upholding high standards for guest experience, quality of food and service. You’ll coach, inspire, and motivate staff to achieve sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest satisfaction goals, participate in interviewing and selection, train the team on food safety, and promote a culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust. The role requires managing flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and is subject to a background check; physical duties include lifting up to 25 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- 1+ years restaurant management experience preferred
